Sculpting on Everything

A tree trunk in a state of semi-decomposition, a petrified branch, a metal sheet from a discarded refrigerator, pieces of marble or granite left over from construction, broken glass and old toys: these are elements that can be reassembled with an aesthetic goal aimed at capturing the attention of the human eye. Time contributes to the multiplicity of these materials, providing a diversity of textures and shapes by affecting their consistency and changing their colors. This multiplicity of textures, colors, and shapes offer a myriad of options to anyone who manages to capture them and give them value through design, physical works and composition.
I try to discover the beauty they contain by seeking equilibrium, modifying volumes, creating textures, and adding brightness and color to impact the viewer. Design becomes an instrument capable of transforming waste into sculpture.
